Acuvue Advance Contact Lenses

Acuvue Advance contact lenses are an improved version of the Acuvue 2 and regular Acuvue contact lenses. While many of the features of these contact lenses remain the same, you will find that each new and improved version does have special features all of their own.

Acuvue Advance contact lenses are made by Johnson and Johnson as well as the other Acuvue contact lenses. These contact lenses are disposable, and you have the option of wearing them daily for two weeks, or wearing them extended and sleeping in them, for one week. Disposable contact lenses are great for keeping irritations and infections as well as germs out of your eyes. You can wear them for the recommended time frame, and then toss them out to replace them for a new pair of contact lenses.

The Acuvue Advance contact lenses are tinted, but they will not change the color of your eye. The tint on the advance contact lenses is so that they are easier to handle, and find in the event that they are dropped. If you were to drop a clear contact lens, you would have trouble finding it on the floor or on the counter top. However, the tint on these contact lenses makes the contact stand out so that you can retrieve it more easily.

The Acuvue Advance contact lenses have a special feature that the other contact lenses do not. The advanced version has a resistance to deposits, as well as being hydraclear. This is a great feature for contact lenses to have. This means that they are soft to the touch of your finger as well as your eyes, making them more comfortable than ever.

Acuvue Advance contact lenses are also available for astigmatism. Which means that Acuvue gives you choices for contact lenses no matter what your prescription entails.
